Make an Exchange

Some years ago, I can remember reflecting on my life and realized that I wasn’t all that impressed with what I had accomplished so far. I kept playing my past over and over in my head until it was causing me to be unproductive in my daily life, and in my purpose as a whole. I often drifted into a daze, thinking about my past; playing over in my head the scenes from being sexually abused as a child, or the feeling of being trapped in a toxic relationship, or how about this one; marrying a man whom God clearly told me not to marry. These were some of the mistakes I made that hindered me from fulfilling God’s plan for my life and pursuing destiny. But suddenly, I had an epiphany and realized that in order for me to go forward in life, I had to stop looking in the rearview mirror. I had to move forward.
